Replacement of a block forming part of the forepeak of the tugboat “Boluda Tramontana”.
As no construction drawings were available, measurements were taken of the block to be built in order to prepare detailed fabrication drawings for all the elements that make up the structure.
Once the drawings had been completed and checked, construction of the block began in the workshop, while at the same time the existing block on the vessel was dismantled and the area prepared to receive the new one.
Once the block had been completed in the workshop, it was transported to the vessel using special transport. The final assembly, fitting and welding work was then carried out on site.
