Following a complex operation to unload the damaged hatch cover and position it in an area prepared for repair at the Noatum container terminal in Valencia, the structural damage caused during cargo loading and unloading operations was repaired.
To carry out the repair, the affected areas had to be cut out and replaced with welded steel plating.
